On Saturday - June 11, 2011, the GLASSMEN will be hosting the 'Run for the Corps' 5K race and 1K Fun Run/Walk to help raise funds for the coming 2011 summer tour.  This is a great opportunity to 'hit the road' and help support your favorite corps.

The race starts promptly at 8:30am (7:30am registration) at the Morenci High School parking lot, and will be winding through the historic downtown district of Morenci, Michigan.  Immediately following the race, the corps will be hosting a pancake breakfast for all participants, and will be awarding prizes to the top three race finishers from each age bracket.  Meals will be available for purchase to all spectators and fans.

• The 5K race is open to all interested runners and costs $20 ($25 after June 1), and includes a commemorative race shirt and pancake breakfast.
• The 1K Fun Run/Walk costs $10 ($15 after June 1), and children are FREE with a paid adult admission (t-shirts excluded).  The pancake breakfast is also included for all participants.
